Our Charmed Life?
When I tell someone the name of "our blog" I sometimes wonder what they think of it. This is my attempt at an explaination of the name. I have always thought that my life is charmed. Not that I don't ever have trials or bad things happen- because they do. Charmed to me doesn't mean without flaw. No matter what happens in life Jesus Christ gives all of us hope for happiness. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. The teachings of the church answer so many questions for me. They achor me and my life through whatever may come. And so, my life is charmed. I always say that I have the life I always dreamed of because of the gospel.

This is what my little dude wishes he could do in our front yard. Desert and a ripstick will have to suffice. Matthew started when he was six. He took about 5 or 6 (can't remember exactly) months off in between then. We did start him out slowly, but he takes once a week now from an excellent teacher. I think it depends on the maturity of your son on when to start him. But, after you do, it's the most important to find a great teacher. The one he had at first was more interested in being pals with lil MJ, the one he has now, is more interested in grooming a great guitarist, while being very caring and attentive to Matthew)It took quite a bit of research, but it has totally paid off. Matthew's math skills are off the charts. Something I know music has helped him with. Hope this helps a little. ps, really, let me know when you are this way.
