Cam has learned to start off on the swing himself. He is in love with the swings now that he doesn't need someone to push for him. Whenever he has time, he asks me if he can go into the backyard and swing. I love to watch how excited he is about it. The other day he took a radio with headphones out and listened to music while he was swinging. What could be better than that?

what a great milestone! i can never push grace enough for her liking, she could go for hours but i just cannot.
I love that milestone. I felt quite a bit of freedom when Eva learned. Now, for Samuel... I am guilty of trying to pick the parks with no swings so I don't have to push Samuel the whole time.
I have to admit, it has freed up some time for me to be inside while he is happy to play by himself.
Way to go Cam! Sophie is seven, and just learned to do this -- finally! Does he have nunchuck skills too?
He wishes he had nunchuck skills- He would give almost anything to get some. Unfortunatly for him, I hardly even let my boys say words that are related to fighting. Poor kids.
